Case 1:

A startup customer in the television broadcast industry requested a product development proposal with an aggressive timeline. They needed an ATSC decoder product with custom plastic enclosure, WiFi and an ARM processor running Linux ready to demonstrate at the Consumer Electronics Show. The ARM processor was used to run a custom algorithm to decode information contained in the ATSC data stream and also communicate over the WiFi connection. The product needed to have extremely low production costs with estimated annual volume of 1 Million pieces. The product development project was completed through the EVT phase on time and on budget with a timeline as shown below:
